about

Discovering Catherine Marshall opened my eyes to a whole other movement fighting for Women’s Suffrage. Catherine came from a comfortable family, was the daughter of open-minded and proactive parents and worked tirelessly, effectively and with originality that impacted on the Suffrage movement to such a degree that she had the ear of politicians. Later her efforts turned to the Peace Movement, including helping refugees escape Nazi Germany. She was brave and unselfish in her dedication to both Women’s Rights and World Peace, but she did it quietly. (Gwen)

Written and sung by Gwen Bainbridge (vocals, ukelele). With June Swift (vocals), Rich Evans (vocals, glockenspiel), Tom Corda-Stanley (double bass), Pete Moran (guitar), Peter Michael Rowan (mandolin)
