about
I love Sarah Losh - this amazing, philanthropic, creative genius. She certainly left her mark as architect of Wreay church & when standing there myself I was overawed by its unique beauty yet most moved by the sense of her loss. I felt the power & agony of love lost - of her friend Major William Thain & overwhelmingly of her sister Katherine. This is a mournful song but I wanted to convey the pain I could tangibly feel there, the same overwhelming grief I would feel were I to lose my own dearest sister. (June)
